STUDIO POLICIES

New to our studio?

You are required to take an Intro to IFP class.  Please create a profile.  Please read, complete and accept our liability waiver, client intake form and cancellation policies before your first class. 

Return/Refund Policy

All sales are final and we do not offer refunds on purchased or unused membership/contracts and class packs. 

Payment Method

We require a credit/debit card to set up all accounts. We accept Apple Pay, Paypal, cash, Mastercard and Visa credit cards or local personal checks for any purchase. We charge $25 for bounced or returned checks. 

 

Proper Dress

Pilates is a full body exercise methodology that incorporates stretching and periods of intense exertion. Please dress comfortably and in slim fit layers of clothing that you can easily move and stretch in. 

Personal Belongings

Please bring only necessary belongings. We are not responsible for any items lost or stolen. 

 

Footwear

Bare feet are preferred for Pilates. Grip socks are ok.

 

Personal Hygiene and Health

Please come to class fragrance free. Refrain from wearing scented lotions, perfume and essential oils in the studio. Please stay home if you are ill. 

Cell Phones and other mobile devices

No cell phones on the studio floor.  Please turn your ringer/notifications off before entering the studio. We understand the occasional need for emergency communications. Please let your instructor, know if you need to have your mobile device on vibrate during class. 

 

Schedule and Instructor Changes

Classes and Instructors are subject to change. Any changes will be announced via email as soon as the change is known. Island Fit Pilates is under no obligation to give clients prior notice of any schedule or instructor changes. 

 

Communication

We will honor your preferred method of communication.  

Automatic reminder emails

These are sent out 24 hours before your appointment or class. It is the client’s responsibility to check spam/junk mail boxes for any incoming mail. Island Fit Pilates is not responsible for any bounced or failed email communications. 

 

Merchandise

All merchandise including but not limited to apparel, jewelry, can be returned within 30 days, as long as the item is new, unused and has original packaging. All return/refunds must be accompanied by the sales receipt. 

Services

There are no refunds on services performed by Island Fit Pilates, unless otherwise determined by management. There are no cash/credit back refunds. If management determines that compensation is appropriate, the client will receive an in house gift card for an estimated dollar amount. Service providers are not permitted to grant refunds at any time.

Group Cancellation
GROUP CANCELLATION POLICIES

 

A 12-hour cancellation notice* is required and must be done through the on-line system to avoid any and all late charges. There are two types of cancellation charges, "Late Cancel" and "No Show." 

- A Late Cancel charge will occur if you cancel less than 12 hours from the scheduled class time, this charge is $12. 

- A No Show charge will occur when you are signed up for a class and do not Show Up OR cancel, this charge is $15. 

A credit card IS required to set up your account. Your credit/debit card will be charged. If you fail to pay any fees or charges when due, services or privileges may be suspended or terminated. You shall be responsible and liable for any fees, including attorneys' fees and collection costs, that Island Fit Pilates may incur in its efforts to collect any unpaid balances from you. Please note, in fairness to all of our customers, your reservation will be cancelled 15 minutes after your class begins.

 

Running Late: We ask that you contact the studio via text message and or email to let us know you are on the way. Your reservation will be held for up to 15 minutes after class begins. Those who are more than 15 minutes late you will not be admitted and will be charged the $12 late cancellation fee. 

 

*Extenuating circumstances will be considered.

ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT
Terms and Conditions 

In addition to our general studio policies you agree to the following regarding all auto pay memberships/contracts: 

We require a credit/debit card for all accounts. Your credit/debit card will be auto debited each month for the duration of your commitment period. 

Autopay commitment memberships/contracts will automatically renew at the end of the commitment period. The commitment period is the equivalent of the contract and/or membership that you purchase. 

All classes must be used within thirty days. All unused classes will not be rolled over and will be forfeited. If you would like to attend more classes, exceeding your monthly limit, you can choose from one of our class pack options. 

To cancel an auto renewal membership/contract, you must notify us via e-mail thirty days prior to your payment being processed. 

All monthly autopay membership/contract members may freeze their accounts as follows: 

● The minimum freeze time is ten days, 

● Management reserves the right to deny any account freeze requests. 

Termination Clause:

If a membership/contract is canceled within or before the commitment period ends, you will be required the pay the reminder of your membership/contract in full at the contracted monthly rate. Your card on file will be charged the remaining amount due on your contract.
